Who we are
It is a non-for-profit association which was established in 1998 with the objective of improving and favouring the development and evolution of children and adolescents with special needs, aiming at increasing their quality of life and integration in society through therapeutical, educational and rehabilitating programmes, which helps open doors to a brighter future.
Our association is formed by children and adolescents from 0 year olds onwards, which have special needs given any kind of physical, psychical, sensorial and/or cognitive disabilities.
The mission, vision and values of APNEEF are based on the wanting to establish a consistent improvement process for all children with disability in Ibiza and Formentera, but also for their families.
What we do
APNEEF carries out different activities directed to the re-education, rehabilitation, integration, protection, and all kinds of help provided to people with special needs and their families. We also advocate and raise awareness for the rights of children with disabilities.
We are currently known for organising new projects and experiences, but always with a coherent and consequent philosophy that has normalisation as a founding principle. We provide the following services: speech therapy, physiotherapy, pedagogy, psychomotricity, psychological care, cognitive and multisensory stimulation, school reinforcement, hydrotherapy, hippotherapy, care and general advice, and leisure and family respite programmes. All our activities are focused on attending our youth with the special needs of them and their families. We work with the hope of being able to incorporate everything that favours and improves the quality of life of our girls and boys and be able to advise and support these wonderful families.
